Shoeburyness is a town in South East Essex, England, situated at the mouth of the river Thames. 
It is within the borough of Southend-on-Sea, and is situated about 3 miles (5 km) east of Southend town centre. It has three local councillors who represent the East of the town (Shoeburyness ward) and three who represent the West (West Shoebury ward).
